Care Workforce: Work to Residence Visa
A care workforce work to residence visa allows you to apply for a residence visa if you currently work for, or have a job offer from, an accredited employer, and you have worked in a care workforce role for 24-months.
Transport Sector: Work to Residence
You may be granted a resident visa if you are working in one of the following occupations and have worked for at least 24-months: • Bus Driver • Truck Driver • Ship’s Master • Deckhand
Green List: Straight to Residence
Tier 1 Green List occupation holders may be eligible to apply for straight to residence if they meet specified requirements in the Green List.
Green List: Work to Residence
Tier 2 Green list occupation holders may be eligible to apply for resident visa if they have worked in New Zealand for at least 24-months and they meet requirements associated to be granted a Green List Work to Residence Visa.
Skilled Migrant Category (SMC)
SMC is two stage process: • Submit EOI • Apply when you receive an Invitation from INZ You must have skilled employment, work experience, recognized qualification or occupational registration and required wage threshold to qualify for 6 points to apply for a Skilled Migrant Category resident visa.
